Why is there a white line on my ID cards?
A common occurrence with ID card printers, the appearance of a white line completely ruins printed cards, running as a vertical line the entire width of the card.
Unfortunately, the white line is an area of the card without any print at all – meaning that the printer has a broken pixel within the printhead, due to the broken pixel, it is unable to print leaving a print-free white line.
The Fix
Unfortunately, there is only one way around a broken pixel on a printhead and that is to purchase a replacement.
